Kessel Run
My work
Kessel Run is the branded name of AFLCMC / DET 12, a division of the Air Force. Our mission was to modernize software for the warfighters all over the world to allow them to more effectively and more efficiently do their job.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work that we did, I can’t show most of the software design work that I worked on. Three aspects that I can share are logos, product, and workspace design I did while at Kessel Run.
Logo Creation
Throughout my time at Kessel Run, I’ve helped the teams I was on and other teams come up with logos and brand identification. I self-taught myself how to use Adobe Illustrator more proficiently and to expand in both style and complexity. This has rapidly become one of my more enjoyable design tasks!
Product Design
In addition to logos, I’ve also designed and managed a large portion of the physical merchandise in the Booster Club as well as business related merchandise including some designs for the office space itself.
Workplace Design
I also got the opportunity to design and produce many aspects of our office workspace including mission statement posters, our Jedi Council hall of fame, and our commander’s coins.
