Game One: Rudo Ressurection

Rudo Resurrection was an action packed 2.5D side scrolling beat ‘em up featuring the wrestlers from CHIKARA. It was a kickstarter effort to launch our first game at Rotary Games. We built it using the Unreal 4 engine with only six developers. I scripted the AI, the fight animations, and the boss fight at the end. In addition, I designed the layout of the kickstarter page.

Game Two: Monster Flight School

Monster Flight School was Rotary Games' second game. It was designed as Flappy Birds with a twist. We added bosses, destructible pillars, power ups and unlockable monsters to the game in hopes of capturing an audience that wanted more out of all the Flappy Birds clones out there. I worked with one artist on this game who produced all the assets and I did the UI, implementation, and scripting of the game.

Monster Flight School Walkthrough

I made this video to highlight the monster variety and the very basics of the gameplay. We had five playable levels with five unique bosses.

Scripting / Boss Fights

I did the scripting for the AI and player as well. This boss fight was set in a subway with trains that would come up and down the tracks and the boss had a knockback ability to push people into the trains. The player had to defeat the boss without being crushed by him or the trains.
